هدف الحالى الى التعرف على الاطار المفاهيمى للميزة التنافسية فى الجامعات ومبرراتها وخصائصها واهم مداخل تحقيقها بها ومتطلبات تحقيقها لجامعة المنصورة واهم المعوقات التى تحد من تحقيقها بالجامعة، واستخدم المنهج الوصفى وصف طبيعه الميزة التنافسية فى الجامعات، کما طبقت الاستبانة على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة المنصورة بهدف التعرف على الواقع الفعلى لمتطلبات تحقيق الميزة التنافسية لجامعة المنصورة والمعوقات التى تقف ضد تحقيقها بالجامعة .ومن اهم النتائج التى تم التوصل اليها وجود ضعف مخصصات البحث العلمي في ميزانية الجامعة، و قلة تدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس على استخدام نظم وطرق مبتکرة في التدريس عن بعد ، و ندرة وجود الشراکات المجتمعية مع موسسات المجتمع الاخرى ومع القطاع الصناعى.

The present study aims to identify the conceptual framework of the competitive advantage of universities, their justifications and characteristics, the most important approaches to achieve them and the requirements of their achievement to Mansoura University and the most important obstacles that limit its achievement at the university. and The study used the descriptive approach to describe and analyze the nature of competitive advantage in universities, The current study used the questionnaire and was directed to a sample of faculty members at Mansoura University in order to identify the actual reality of the requirements of achieving the competitive advantage of Mansoura University and the obstacles that stand against its achievement at the university, The study found that there is a weak allocation of scientific research in the budget of the university and lack of training of faculty members on the use of innovative systems and methods in distance teaching and the scarcity of community partnerships with other community institutions and with the industrial sector.
